How do I get started?
You can set up a 10–15-minute consultation with me by calling 540-208-6040 or by emailing me at karizollerlpc@gmail.com. Consultations are free and it is important for us to decide if we may be a good fit and want to move forward with scheduling a session.
Do you take insurance?
I currently accept and am in-network with Anthem and Optima. If you do not want to use your insurance, please let me know during our consultation so that we can discuss options.
What can I expect during our first session?
First sessions can be anxiety-provoking, especially if you’ve never experienced psychotherapy before. During our initial session, we will begin to build trust and get to know each other (just like any other relationship). I may help clarify your needs and reasons for entering therapy and we will collaborate on one or two short term therapeutic goals as a place to start. After doing so, I can offer suggestions for treatment and give you a better picture of how our time together can best be spent.
What is your cancellation policy?
It is understandable that on a rare occasion you may have to miss an appointment due to an emergency. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me as soon as possible, and at least 24-hours in advance of your appointment so that I can support other clients in need of a session. If there is a 24-hour notice, you will not be charged. Thank you for respecting my clinical boundary as my professional time for your session has been set aside specifically for you.
